Finding fun things to do at Christmas time is easy. The hard part is actually remembering to do them all! I know I always make SO MANY plans for the Christmas season and then usually only end up doing a handful of them. So this year I am doing 25 days of Christmas! No, not like the Free Form movie marathon. Well, kind of, there are movies! But with Christmas family activities too. In this series, you will find 25 days of an activity for the whole family, something to do with your spouse, a Christmas movie, a holiday recipe, and a random act of kindness.
Be sure to check in every day on the Living Life As A Wife Facebook Page to get your daily dose of Christmas! And get a FREE printable Christmas Bucket List from the Resource Library!
25 Days of Christmas Family Activities Day: 12
Christmas Family Activity
Do something AWESOME today! Have a winter/Christmas scavenger hunt! It can be indoor AND outdoor to make it really fun. Do it all together or team up depending on your family size. Either way, just enjoy it and be creative with what you find! Want even MORE fun? Get disposable cameras and do a photo scavenger hunt! It only counts if you take a photo. Need some ideas? Check these out to get started making your own list.
- Characters (Santa, Reindeer, Snowman, Baby Jesus, Elf)
- Decorations (red light, Christmas tree, wreath, manger scene)
- Candy cane, north pole sign, stocking sleigh
Christmas Couple Activity
Since the family activity was a little involved today, keep the couple activity nice and simple! Kiss under mistletoe!
This is an amusing story about Santa’s older brother who is rather bitter about the whole situation. He is forced to go to the North Pole and help Santa and the elves for cash when he finds himself in a bind.
Vince Vaughn keeps this movie amusing. I watched it for the first time last year but actually enjoyed it quite a bit! It’s a fun story worth watching with the whole family.
Today, enjoy this Chocolate Peppermint bundt cake from Baking A Moment. It is rich, moist, and full of flavor! The deep taste of chocolate and the cool peppermint sensation work beautifully together to have a tasty treat.
Enjoy this sweet treat!
Make a spare change jar for the rest of the month. Search through your house and car and find all the loose change that you can. Fill it up as quickly as you can and donate it to the charity of your choosing. I bet you can fill it up from the change you already have!
Happy December 12th!
Christmas is getting close!! Keep it up because we are just about half way there now!
