Finding fun things to do at Christmas time is the easy part. What’s hard is actually remembering to do everything! I know I always make SO MANY plans and then usually only end up doing a couple of them. So this year I am doing 25 days of Christmas! No, not like the Free Form movie marathon. Well, kind of, there are movies! But with Christmas family activities too. In this series, you will find 25 days of an activity for the whole family, something to do with your spouse, a Christmas movie, a holiday recipe, and a random act of kindness.
Be sure to check in every day on the Living Life As A Wife Facebook Page to get your daily dose of Christmas! And get a FREE printable Christmas Bucket List from the Resource Library!
25 Days of Christmas Family Activities Day: 13
Christmas Family Activity
Today is going to be a little different than some of the days so far. It is up to you how you make it fun for your family. But Teach your kids, and learn yourself about other holidays at this time of year. Research other religions and what they celebrate. Play some games, look up recipes. Celebrate the way that they do to better understand them. And have FUN doing it together.
Christmas Couple Activity
Take some time tonight to just sit together by the fire. If you don’t have a fireplace (this girl right here!) just snuggle together under a blanket and put on the fireplace on Netflix with some light Christmas music, and enjoy!
This is a sweet story for a family about Christmas. Enjoy following Santa’s son, Arthur, through a mess that he has made requiring a quick delivery of a misplaced gift!
Enjoy a fun night with the family watching this sweet movie together.
This is a fun one today! Check out these ADORABLE reindeer cupcakes from Crayons and Cravings. They are simple to make so young kids can help too. And SO delicious to eat. To make these, it’s not much more effort than you would put in for usual cupcakes. So make these sweet treats and ENJOY!
Go out today and offer to shovel for anyone who needs it. A single parent, a pregnant mom, an elderly couple, someone who has had surgery or an injury recently. Anyone who you think may need it. You won’t just make their day, but you will be doing something that they will remember. Because for some people, snow in their drive can ruin their entire day if they can’t remove it on their own.
Happy December 13th!
Remember, this is supposed to be FUN! SO make sure that you are keeping it casual and enjoying your time together as a family more than anything else throughout the 25 days of Christmas family activities!
