Finding fun things to do during the Christmas season is pretty easy. The hard part is actually remembering to do them all! I know I always make SO MANY plans and then usually only end up doing a handful of them. So this year I am doing 25 days of Christmas! No, not like the Free Form movie marathon. Well, kind of, there are movies! But with Christmas family activities too. In this series, you will find 25 days of an activity for the whole family, something to do with your spouse, a Christmas movie, a holiday recipe, and a random act of kindness. Keep up with your plans!
Be sure to check in every day on the Living Life As A Wife Facebook Page to get your daily dose of Christmas! And get a FREE printable Christmas Bucket List from the Resource Library!
25 Days of Christmas Family Activities Day: 15
Christmas Family Activity
So you have 2 options today! If you are a family who likes to get out there and put smiles on other people’s faces, go caroling! You don’t have to go door to door or anything, you can participate at a local hospital or nursing home.
But if you don’t want to sing in front of other people (I think other people probably thank me for not going caroling LOL), have an at-home Christmas music party! Turn on the Christmas tunes and sing and dance around together. Be silly and HAVE FUN!
Christmas Couple Activity
With Christmas approaching quickly, it is time to wrap some gifts! Sit down with a pile each and get started! Chat about whatever you want to while you do. And make sure you BOTH wrap so no one has to do all of it alone.
The drama of a big family at the holidays and a little boy getting lost in it all. Literally. Kevin gets forgotten at home when his entire family goes out of the country for Christmas. While his family struggles to get in contact with him and get home on Christmas, he has to protect his house from burglars.
The hilarious traps he sets for them will keep you laughing the entire time. Have some family time and enjoy this Christmas classic.
These beautiful cupcakes are perfect for Christmas flavors that you will love. Check out the recipe for Cranberry White Chocolate Cupcakes from Baking a Moment. They don’t take long but look great and taste even better!
Today is easy. Go to Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts, wherever you buy your morning coffee. Go through the drive-thru and pay for the order behind you too. More than likely, you will start a trend and who knows how many people will be touched by your act of kindness. There was a time when a man paid for my breakfast when I was out with a friend and my son (2 months old at the time) because he overheard me say that my husband was military. That was over 2 years ago and it STILL brings tears to my eyes.
It is a simple thing to do, but it will brighten someone’s day more than you could know.
Happy December 15th!
I hope you enjoyed your day and that these activities helped you have FUN with your family in the Chrstmas spirit.
