Finding fun things to do during the Christmas season is easy. The hard part is actually remembering to do them all! I know I always make SO MANY plans and then usually only end up doing a handful of them. So this year I am doing 25 days of Christmas! No, not like the Free Form movie marathon. Well, kind of, there are movies! But with Christmas family activities too. In this series, you will find 25 days of an activity for the whole family, something to do with your spouse, a Christmas movie, a holiday recipe, and a random act of kindness.
Be sure to check in every day on the Living Life As A Wife Facebook Page to get your daily dose of Christmas! And get a FREE printable Christmas Bucket List from the Resource Library!
25 Days of Christmas Family Activities Day: 18
Christmas Family Activity
SO this one may not be something you can actually DO today. But I want you to go ahead and make your plans to do it! Find a local Christmas parade that you can attend. Bundle yourselves up and stay warm! Consider stopping for hot chocolate at a local coffee shop or bringing some candy canes with you to eat. Have fun celebrating with your community.
Christmas Couple Activity
This is a laid back and easy kind of day. Just cuddle up to a movie you both enjoy and veg out for the night. Stay close to one another and enjoy the company and touch of your spouse.
This is such an amazing classic story. Everyone should enjoy it this time of year.
It is all about the belief in magic and Santa Claus. When a man is institutionalized for believing he is Santa, a young girl and a lawyer try to help him be defending him in court.
The whole family will enjoy this movie. The links here will take you to a DVD that has BOTH the 1947 and 1994 versions.
I don’t want to give you exclusively dessert recipes. So today we are doing something different. Try out these festive cheese balls from Delicious Table. There are 4 recipes here so you can have an assortment. And cheeseballs are pretty simple to make. Enjoy this fun snack today!
Are you ready for a SUPER simple day of giving? Don’t worry! It will still make a big impact. Leave a Christmas card for your mail carrier. They work hard year round but this season is especially grueling when there is an astronomical number of packages being delivered and most of us are not know for planning ahead. The streets can be a mess and the weather is bad. But they still do their best to deliver your mail. Let your mail carriaer know you appreciate all their efforts and leave a card for them.
It is sure to put a smile on his or her face!
Happy December 18th!
Remember, this is supposed to be FUN! SO make sure that you are keeping it casual and enjoying your time together as a family more than anything else throughout the 25 days of Christmas family activities!
