Finding fun things to do during the Christmas season is easy. The hard part is actually remembering to do them all! I know I always make SO MANY plans and then usually only end up doing a handful of them. So this year I am doing 25 days of Christmas! No, not like the Free Form movie marathon. Well, kind of, there are movies! But with Christmas family activities too. In this series, you will find 25 days of an activity for the whole family, something to do with your spouse, a Christmas movie, a holiday recipe, and a random act of kindness.
Be sure to check in every day on the Living Life As A Wife Facebook Page to get your daily dose of Christmas! And get a FREE printable Christmas Bucket List from the Resource Library!
25 Days of Christmas Family Activities Day: 19
Christmas Family Activity
Today is an educational day! Don’t worry, it can still be fun. Learn about Christmas! Read about the holiday itself, Santa Claus, anything that you are interested in about it. Make it a point to learn at least 5 new facts that relate to the holiday!
It will be fun to share fun information with each other while you talk about it and search.
Christmas Couple Activity
Tonight, with Christmas quickly approaching, take some time together and share your favorite Christmas memory from your past. It can be from last year or from when you were 4 years old. Whatever it is, tell the whole story of what it was and why you enjoyed it so much.
You may even get to know each other better from it!
Watch this amazing classic Christmas movie together tonight. It pairs perfectly with the family activity today because it tells the story of Santa’s origin and Kris Kringle.
It is full of fun music and the story is great for children. Plus, it’s educational! Right?
Have fun with this story tonight!
These cookies are delicious, festive, and easy to make. You probably have everything you need except the Christmas Kisses! Check out the recipe for these Candy Cane Kiss Cookies from Crayons and Cravings and enjoy them tonight!
For today’s giving activity, go to the store and pick out a few inexpensive toys. Bring them to a local shelter so that you can give some children that wouldn’t have anything, a Christmas.
All kids deserve something for Christmas. But not all parents are able to provide gifts every year. So being able to provide even a $5 gift to a child is incredible. And a family will be blessed forever.
Happy December 19th!
