Finding fun things to do during the Christmas season is easy. The hard part is actually remembering to do them all! I know I always make SO MANY plans and then usually only end up doing a handful of them. So this year I am doing 25 days of Christmas! No, not like the Free Form movie marathon. Well, kind of, there are movies! But with Christmas family activities too. In this series, you will find 25 days of an activity for the whole family, something to do with your spouse, a Christmas movie, a holiday recipe, and a random act of kindness.
Be sure to check in every day on the Living Life As A Wife Facebook Page to get your daily dose of Christmas! And get a FREE printable Christmas Bucket List from the Resource Library!
25 Days of Christmas Family Activities Day: 21
Christmas Family Activity
You’ve had your Christmas tree up for a while now, so let’s add to it! Sit down and make ornaments together. There are TONS of types of ornaments that you can make. You can buy a kit to make a traditional color, make pipe cleaner candy canes, or anything else you can think of. Sit down around the dining room table and just have fun with your creations! Then go and hang them all up on the tree to enjoy.
Christmas Couple Activity
This one is fun! Go camping! Don’t worry, you don’t have to pack or go outside. Just sleep by the Christmas tree. With the soft lights of the tree glowing the atmosphere will be romantic. You can roast marshmallows over the fire and make smores. Indoor camping for adults – Christmas style.
This is one of my favorite Christmas movies. Of course, I LOVE the original animation, but I have always enjoyed this version too.
It goes into the history of The Grinch and WHY he hates Christmas and the Whos. They also show the fact that people can sometimes get carried away and forget what Christmas is about. Because it is not just about giving gifts.
Plus, the makeup and outfits are amazing (award-winning actually!) and make it a TON of fun to watch. Then you have the music which is just great. Have fun with this movie today!
This is a yummy little treat that is perfect for Christmas time! With only 5 ingredients and an hour of time, you will have these delicious sweet cream cheese cranberry tartlets from The Cozy Cook. Just know, it’s tough not to eat them all!
Take a little bit of time and bake up some treats for the furry neighbors. Wrap up some homemade dog treats (try these) and give them to neighbors with dogs. You can also drop some off at the local dog shelters. It will let them know they are loved.
Happy December 21st!
