Finding fun things to do at Christmas time is easy to do. But the question is do you actually remember to do them all? I know I always make TONS of plans for the Christmas season and I usually only end up doing a handful of them. So this year I am doing 25 days of Christmas! No, not like the Free Form movie marathon. Well, kind of, there are movies! But with Christmas family activities too. You will find 25 days of an activity for the whole family, something to do with your spouse, a Christmas movie, a holiday recipe, and a random act of kindness.

25 Days of Christmas Family Activities: Day 5
Holy moly! Is it December 5th already?? Let’s get going!
Christmas Family Activity
Spend time together cooking dinner as a family. Give everyone a job and have fun. I like to make something that’s also fun to eat. Like homemade pizza! Everyone can build their own or you can make one big one. It’s not about how difficult it is to make. But to have fun doing a Christmas family activity together. So enjoy each other while you cook and eat as a family.
Christmas Couple Activity
Once the kids have all gone to bed, make some Hot Cocoa and enjoy it together. Cuddle up by the fire if you have one and sit and sip. Talk about your day or watch a movie. Whatever you want to do! Just do it together.
This is the sequel to The Santa Clause from yesterday. It is just as sweet as the first. After a few years as Santa Scott (Tim Allen) finds out that there is another clause to being Santa! The Mrs. Clause. He has to get married. And fast. So home he goes as the “desantafication process” begins to find a wife.
To add to the chaos, the #2 elf creates a toy Santa to keep at the workshop in order to fool the elves into thinking that everything is fine so close to Christmas. Well, toy Santa does things a little differently!
Enjoy this fun family Christmas movie today and have some laughs together. Don’t worry! It is completely kid-friendly but plenty entertaining for the adults too.
I love this one because it is so quick and easy to make. This Christmas Cookie Dip from The Cozy Cook is yummy and you can even pretend it’s healthy if you eat it with fruit! It’s really just a few minutes of beating to make it and you probably have everything you need in your house!
Take some time today to go out and volunteer some time. It can be anything you like but just help someone else. Go to the food bank, a homeless shelter, or the local humane society and help out. If you want something more long-term consider becoming a pet foster parent. Just decide on something as a family and do it together today.
Happy December 5th!
Enjoy your Christmas family activities for these 25 days. I hope you are using them to enjoy each other as much as you can during this busy time of year.
