Finding fun things to do at Christmas time is easy to do. But it is so hard to actually remember to do them all! I always make TONS of plans for the Christmas season and I usually only end up doing maybe handful of them. So this year I am doing 25 days of Christmas! No, not like the Free Form movie marathon. Well, kind of, there are movies! But with Christmas family activities too. You will find 25 days of an activity for the whole family, something to do with your spouse, a Christmas movie, a holiday recipe, and a random act of kindness.

25 Days of Christmas Family Activities: Day 6
Time is running out until Santa gets here! Are you excited??
Christmas Family Activity
Making personalized decorations for the house can be really fun for the whole family. Today, take some time to make a wreath. The best thing about it is you can do it from fresh items you find from a nature walk or buy from someone. Or you can buy artificial pieces from a craft store and use it year after year. Either way, have fun using different textures and colors to make is unique. Add a nice big bow and you’re done!
Christmas Couple Activity
Find some time to sneak away and get each other a special little gift that you can hang on the tree. It can be something you buy or something you make. Just make it meaningful and memorable. My favorite example is when I was expecting our first baby and my husband got me a little pregnant snowman ornament. Considering snowmen are my favorite and I found I was pregnant between Thanksgiving and Christmas, it is the perfect way to remember that joyful time every year.
So make it something special, no matter if it is big or small.
Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause
For those of you who know this series and have been following the 25 Days of Christmas Family Activities, you knew this was coming today!
I just can’t explain how much I love these movies. This one is a little different from the others focusing around Scott’s In-laws and Lucy but it is still just as sweet.
Scott is tricked into wishing he wasn’t Santa and all of time is changed so that he never was. Charlie is not in his life anymore and Scott works on Christmas every year. He has to race against the clock to be able to get his reality back. And needs Lucy to help him do it.
Watch this last entry in the series as a family and have some laughs.
This is a great movie snack! This Christmas Puppy Chow from Salt and Lavendar is SO good. It’s simple to make and you can make it in bulk to last for a while (or just eat it all!). It also makes a really great little gift if you put it in some Christmas bags.
As a quick to make item and something you probably have all of the ingredients for in your house, this is an easy win!
Offer to babysit for free today so another couple you know can have a night out. You can even offer trading nights if you want! But as parents, it can be hard to get alone time (as I’m sure you know!) so offering it to someone else can really be one of the most charitable thing you can do. And it’s really not THAT much effort on your part since you’ve got the kids running around already!
Happy December 6th!
Hopefully, you are doing well keeping up with all the wonderful Christmas family activities so far. Christmas is coming up fast!
