That’s Not My… Series
This is an entire series of touchy-feely board books for babies. I’m going to be super honest here. I easily have 5 or more touch and feel books in my house. And both of my kids have always loved them.
But they also have begun to destroy them with very little trouble. Maybe my kids are just especially destructive? I don’t know. But the Usborne books in the That’s Not My… Series are SUCH high quality.
The pages are thick and strong. The colors are vibrant. And the areas where the textures are are very large and easy to touch. These books also tell a story about whatever version you have.
So in That’s Not My Bee it talks about bees and how they make honey. Which I think is a major addition to the textured style of book.
Check out the entire series of That’s Not My.. to see all the options.
These books are a GREAT alternative tolift the flap books when you have younger kids. Both of my kids would rip the flaps off in seconds.
But with these, you get the same experience without the flap! That way you can simply move the pieces with your finger and not have to worry about anything.
However, if you do want the traditional Lift the Flap Books, check them out too. They are more sturdy than most that I have seen so they hold up better than average.
There are a TON of books to choose from that are part of this collection. It includes:
- Noise books
- Playbooks (garden words, animals, farm words, and more)
- Stroller books
- Slide and see books
- Touchy feely books
- And more!
You should definitely check it out! These books will help you teach your kids about different sounds, pictures, and be a TON of fun for your kids.
This is a GREAT first Usborne book for babies. There are awesome pictures of animals and the noises that they make. It encourages the beginning of teaching kids to talk.
Plus it’s a ton of fun!
