Being a new blogger I have a lot of different post ideas in my head. I have used several different templates that I’ve found online and been given as a free gift for joining email lists. I have brainstorming worksheets, workbooks, planners to help me schedule my posts and everything else I have thought of so far. But I wanted a blog post planning worksheet to get all my ideas for each post organized. I googled and searched on Pinterest but couldn’t find anything like what I wanted. The only thing I could find was a weekly or monthly planner, or something to just jot down your general idea really quick with several on a page.
But I work better with something bigger and a little more detailed. I wanted a 1 page planner. So I made one. I wanted to share it with everyone so that it can help other people like me who want to put down all the details but have them contained and organized in their own space.

Going into the search for a free printable blog post planning worksheet I was thinking that it would be straightforward enough to find pretty easily. But I realized quickly that I was wrong. So after failing to find what I wanted I decided to make my own.
I separated things into a few categories that I brainstorm in hoping to give everything a place to go. So there is the blog title and publish date of course. Under the content section I left an empty box to be fill with a general outline of things to include. Next to that I have a checklist of things that I want to make sure is done for every post I write. It includes anything from spellcheck to actually publishing the post. I left 2 blank bullet points to be filled in if you want to personalize anything there.
Next I have an open box for images, videos, and links that you want to include so as you find or upload/download them you don’t lose or forget about anything. I left space for other notes and ideas that may be important for some posts more than others. Last I have a space for brainstorming categories and labels for the post.

I like to brainstorm. However, if I don’t do it in an organized fashion I want to start over and go in a new direction. Having the open boxes setup in a contained way all on one page, is incredibly helpful to me.
