So we’ve been trying TONS of new recipes recently. And we have added in quite a few of them to our regular rotation. Which I love, because who wants to eat the same 10 meals all the time. But I don’t want to have to search through several cook books before I find the recipe I want. And then to leave room on my counter tops for the cook book. I also hate getting my cook books dirty, so it takes up way more space then it needs. And, ask my husband, I already complain about our lack of counter space. So I add everything we like to make regularly into my recipe binder. It’s more organized and I know where to find everything. Plus, I just pull the sheet put and hang it up on the fridge while I’m cooking. No lost space and no mess.
How I Organize My Recipe Binder
I just want to say that I have always enjoyed cooking and baking, but this makes it even more enjoyable for me. I like to do things in an organized way and this streamlines the entire process. And this is probably one of the easiest things you’ll ever do to organize. It won’t take much time, I promise.
So let me show you what I do!
My Supplies
My mother in law bought me the binder and started it with a bunch of recipes. I love the binder, it’s really cute. And it comes with some pages already in it. Eccolo Recipe Keeper, Live Love Eat is the one that I have.
I also got pages and note cards to add to it. Honestly, I over did it and not everything fit, but I have extra now I guess. So I’ll link what I got because I will eventually use it all, but you absolutely do not need more than just the binder to get started.

Organizing
This is the easy part. The binder comes with super cute dividers. So just organize it all in. I keep my recipes organized by how often we use them. So that I have to turn less pages for common things.
And I also organize it by what I use in them. What I mean by that is under main dishes I have chicken, beef, and pork, and so on, sections. And in each of those sections I have them in order of most to least used. So in chicken BBQ chicken is first. We eat it ALL the time.
So that’s about all for what i have to do to organize it. I promised this would be easy didn’t I?
Here’s some photos of what everything in the recipe binder looks like:
Keeping all of our favorite recipes in one place makes me really look forward to cooking and baking more. Because I don’t have to go all over the place for things. When I am making my grocery list I just grab this. And I can do the same again when I am ready to cook. It makes my life SO easy.
