Why You Need to Practice Positive Self-Talk
As I said before, I could go on about this for quite some time. But you should be kind to yourself because you deserve it.
Think about how you talk to yourself and how you treat yourself. If you had a friend that spoke to you and treated you that way, would you still be friends?
If the answer is no, you need to make some changes.
Do it for you. And if that isn’t enough, then do it for your family. So your husband sees you being your best. And your kids watch you and see an example of how to speak to themselves.
Kids are always watching. And they do what you do. Set a good example of positive self-talk so that they will grow up with this important skill. They will love themselves and never accept less than they deserve.
And it all starts with you.
